My little Harith

WHO'S THE BOSS?

As he embarks on the exciting journey of toddlerhood, my little harith faces quite a task - resolving the difficult struggle between wanting to be independent, having limited abilities, and needing the guidance and safety only me and my husband can provide.

He has an almost uncontrollable drive to explore the world and manage things alone, but at the same time cannot bear to be separated from his loved ones. He wants to be daring and adventurous, but needs to keep me always in sight. All the while, he is also hard at work controlling those legs and feet in the walking game, and busy getting to grips with those tricky consonant and vowel combinations that make up words.

Therefore, I need to be very patient with my baby's separation anxieties, and concentrate on enjoying his language development. so, what should i do?

....try playing little mimicking games with him, repeating simple words clearly and prompting him to copy and reproduce their sounds.
....Clap and whoop to make him laugh so he can feel satisfaction from his attempts and learns to enjoy language.
....what else i can do?
